raft” grade. It’s extremely soft, and uniform. Normally jute is uneven, semi-frayed, and much rougher than the craft variety. Craft jute does have a lower tensile strength vs regular jute, so if you need it to hold weight beyond what can be broken by hand, you might look elsewhere. If you are looking for “pretty” - this is very much it.

Always looking for a good twine. This is a great color and not too thick for my projects. Love the spool, which is superior to what you find in other stores that falls apart.

The twine is lightweight and more flexible than I expected, with texture between a yarn and twine. I am using it for boutonnieres so a pin will get through it easily, which I think is better.
